    Norris McLaughlin, P.A. Launches Pennsylvania Real Estate Legal Blog

    Allentown, PA (August 16, 2013) – Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has launched www.LVLandlordLawyer.com, a blog providing a local source for information on current legal issues affecting landlords in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

    “Lehigh Valley Landlord Lawyer Blog will provide a central hub of legal information for Lehigh Valley commercial landlords to read about recent trends, legislative and regulatory developments, and legal topics of interest.  Matt Mobilio, an associate with the firm, other Norris McLaughlin, P.A.attorneys, and invited experts will write for the blog and address issues in a variety of legal areas of concern to landlords,” said Scott Lipson, a Member of the firm and Chair of the Real Estate Law Group.

    LANTA Honors Lipson for 15 Years of Service

    Allentown, PA (July 31, 2013) – Donald H. Lipson, a member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., received an award from LANTA (Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority) for his 15-year service on the Board of Directors.  During his time on the Board, Lipson served as Chairman and Treasurer.

    “I am honored for the recognition – it was a pleasure to work with all of the wonderful people I have encountered during my time on the Board,” said Lipson.

    Lipson focuses his practice primarily on municipal law and health care law.  He provides legal services to municipalities and applicants in all municipal matters including zoning and planning issues.  Lipson serves as Solicitor to the Borough of Fountain Hill, Solicitor to Weisenberg Township, Assistant Solicitor of Lehigh County, and Solicitor to Whitehall Township Tax Appeals Board and Building Code Board of Appeals; and was formerly Chairman of the Zoning Hearing Board of Salisbury Township.

    Lipson named Pennsylvania Chair of the Real Estate & Land Use Department

    Allentown, PA (October 15, 2012) – The Bridgewater-based law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has named Scott R. Lipson as the Chair of the Pennsylvania Office’s Real Estate and Land Use Department. Scott has been with the firm for 19 years and is also a member of the Business Law and Litigation Groups.

    “Scott is a perfect fit for Department Chair of our Real Estate and Land Use Department. His wealth of experience in the area of Real Estate and Land Use is invaluable to the firm,” said Matthew Sorrentino, Managing Partner of the Pennsylvania Office.

    “I am honored to serve as the Real Estate and Land Use Department Chair and to work closely with my colleagues in continuing to provide first-rate legal services to the Lehigh Valley,” said Lipson.

    Lipson, a resident of Allentown, focuses his practice on civil matters of all kinds, with an emphasis on real estate law, financing, zoning, municipal law, and condo law. He has spoken to local educational and professional organizations on a wide variety of legal topics and is a former chairman of the Upper Macungie Zoning Hearing Board. He served on the board of directors for the March of Dimes and led the Explorers’ Post through the Lehigh County Bar Association. Lipson is a past editor for the Lehigh Law Journal and has served as local editor to the Pennsylvania District & County Reporter for the past decade.
